A mountainous sub-region within the Central Washington Cascades, bounded by Icicle Creek, Peshastin Creek, Ingalls Creek, Stuart Pass, and Jack Creek. Notable landforms include Cashmere Mountain, Jack Ridge, Mt. Stuart, Argonaut Peak, Colchuck Peak, Dragontail Peak, Cannon Mountain, Temple Ridge, and McClellan Peak.
