A classic rafting traverse down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon in Northern Arizona. The full traverse traditionally extends from Lees Ferry to Diamond Creek (a river distance of 225 miles). Partial traverses can be performed by putting in or taking out at an intermediate location such as Bright Angel Trail or Kaibab Trail.
