Full Trip Report

Eileen and I took advantage of good weather last Saturday by doing a ski trek on Hurricane Ridge in the northern Olympics. We started near the visitor center and headed east along Obstruction Point Road. This road would make a dandy ski tour earlier in the season, but the snow is too inconsistent now.

Fortunately, the corn snow was ripe and ready for yo-yo skiing, so we spent the day white-pointing First Hurricane Knoll (Point 5645) east of Steeple Rock.
