Mt Rainier aka Tahoma is located in the Southern Cascades region and is a member of The Regal Six. The traditional summit elevation of 14,411 ft measured at Columbia Crest has decreased to 14,400 ft due to gradual loss of snowpack, as determined by Eric Gilbertson in 2024.
