Central WA Cascades

A mountainous region in central Washington, roughly bounded on the north by Skykomish River, Stevens Pass (US-2), Nason Creek, Wenatchee River, and Swakane Creek; and on the south by Green River, Stampede Pass, upper Yakima River, and Ryegrass Coulee (I-90).  This region encompasses the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, Issaquah Alps, Mt. Si Conservation Area, Teanaway Community Forest, and Colockum Wildlife Area.
