A mountainous sub-region within the North-Central Washington Cascades, bounded by Phelps Creek, Big Creek, Railroad Creek, Copper Creek, Entiat River, Tillicum Creek, upper Chumstick Creek, Wenatchee River, and Chiwawa River. Notable landforms include Copper Peak, Mt. Fernow, Seven-Fingered Jack, Mt. Maude, Spectacle Buttes, Fifth of July Mountain, Klone Peak, and Tyee Ridge.
